well still Mass Effect is inspired by KotOR. Just try it out ;). And imo star wars is not outdated and still the best sci fi story/stories..
i got pissed by mass effect when my savegame was suddenly deleted >.<

MASS EFFECT IS FREAKIN AWESOME. For me its like the sci fi of today (starwars being so yesterday)

I totally creamed myself when i got that game. and the sequel. and the dlcs. And mass effect 3 is coming soon OMG.

@loyal: TOR is meant to be a sequel to KotOR cause its supposed to be based on the story. im not sure if it works but it would be cool btw u can play kotor on newer pcs too.. if you have problems starting it you can just google it, i remember that i had problems too but i found a solution very fast. KotOR is just great. Mass Effect is inspired by it but KotOR is better in my opinion

@Lord Slaughter...i am an old member, and to be honest my laptop got smashed a few months ago and ive not took to getting it repaired yet (i8m on a little netbook atm)

my xfire is immortalloyal but i seldom use it. I really should get into the habit of using it more.

unforetunately im not on battlefrnt 2 much these days. since ive got decent internet ive switched to other games on the xbox.

when i get my laptop sorted i intent to return to it.

I would love to have a Knights of the Old Republic, and a Jedi Knights series game out for the modern platforms. I loved Jedi Outcast & Jedi Academy but they are old and dn't work n my newer computers, and i never got to play KOTOR cos i never had an older cnsole and i feel i missed out.

If something is good, why stop doing it?

Instead they bring something out called Force Unleashed, which I personally think is an absolute epic failure.

@slau: no.. there is no WoW2 aswell ;). they will just keep making addons and stuff but they wont make swtor2 any time soon after swtor.

@mar: it has 4 classes for every sith and 4 for republic and they will surely release new classes if the game is succesfull. and i will become a jedi more likely atm =P although i will be a darksided jedi who is not afraid of killing mean people ^^

@nahdar: at first i didnt like the design too, but the more i see it the better it looks especially buildings look incredibly good. its better looking than any other mmorpg atm.

hm but if swtor is succesful they will use the money for swtor2 =(

@Slaughter: Think about it. If they do bring out SWTOR, which is an MMORPG, people will have to pay every month. That means more income for Lucasart.
The reason why SWBF3 was "postponed" is due to lack of fund. Therefore if SWTOR is successful, they could use their profit to fund other projects such as SWBF3.

The Old Republic was to be released last fall, than this spring, and now they want to bring it out in fall again. But be sure, that won't be the last date... And the design is bad!

they shall stop all starwars projects and shall create the game swbf3 =D

It should come out this year. I'm a bit disappointed that it only has 4 classes...
and I DOn'T want you to get SWTOR. Coz If I recall, you wanna be Sith. So I want the galaxy to be at peace thank you very much xD
